Aloe marlothii

This is 2-4 m (6.5-13 ft) tall, with dense tufts of as many as 50 leaves. These are more than 50 cm (20 in) long, up to 10 cm (4 in) wide at the base, vivid blue-green, and red-toothed on the margin. The inflorescence is branched and composed of glowing yellow flowers.

To produce flowers, A. marlothii requires plenty of light, warm conditions in summer, and cool conditions in winter. Water only in very hot weather; do not feed.
