AROMATIC PLANTS

These are plants with fragrant leaves, wood or fruits. Familiar examples are the leaves of nepeta (catmint), mint, lavender, rosemary, Artemisia abrotanum (southernwood) and Aloysia triphylla (lemon-scented verbena). Aromatic woods include those of camphor, cedar and juniper. Aromatic fruits are found in pepper and nutmeg.
