H. B. The Siberian wallflower, as amateurs know it, produces richly coloured orange or yellow flowers in May, continuing till late summer. Flowers quickest in sunny position, on rather sandy light soils; but will flourish almost anywhere. Treat as for wallflower. Sow seed in May in open, transplant when 2 in. high to growing bed, well spaced and with tops pinched, and to final quarters in autumn for spring flowering. See WALLFLOWER for other kinds.
