cneorum: Height to 30 cm; rose-pink flowers in late spring and early summer. A fine rock plant. Daphne mezereum: Height to 1 m; the purple-pink flowers appear before the foliage as soon as early to mid spring, and are followed by red berries. ‘Alba’ has white flowers and yellow berries; ‘Ruby Glow’ produces large, purple-red flowers.
