Impatiens Busy Lizzie; 10-13°C/50-55°F; Tropical Africa

Known to everyone, Busy Lizzies propagate like weeds either in water or more conventionally in pots of potting mixture. Once cuttings have rooted well their tops should be pinched out to provide more bushy plants. Thereafter, pot on as required and keep the peat- or loam-based soil moist at all times. Feed well when plants are in their final pots. Many excellent varieties to choose from, the colour range spanning white, pink, red, deep crimson, orange and purple. They flower almost continually and are all easy to grow in the pleasant warmth of a bright room that is well-ventilated on warmer days.
