Inula is a genus of plants with yellow, daisy-like flowers which bloom during the summer months. Not all are of use for cut purposes, but I. glandulosa has refined flowers of 3 or 4 in. on 18-in. Stems. I. Orientalis has fine-petalled orange blooms, while I. royleana which goes on blooming until the autumn is neat growing, the rich yellow flowers lasting well.

All are of easy culture, although they prefer full sun and a good soil rather on the heavy side.
