H. A. A most beautiful plant, too seldom seen but very easy to grow. It is also known as the violet cress, and reaches only 2 in., the white or lilac, fragrant flowers being tinged with violet. Prefers a soil which does not dry out too easily and does well on heavy ground. Self-sown seedlings are frequent and even on wet land this plant will usually reappear the following spring.
