KALANCHOE BLOSSFELDIANA

P. This greenhouse plant grows to about 18 in. and blooms a year from seed sowing, which should be in May, in heat, and pricked out into 5 in. pots as early as it is possible to handle it. The orange-red flowers appear in summer and continue over a long period. It requires leaf mould and sand in the main potting of loam and the pots should be well-drained with small crocks. Increase by 3 in. long cuttings in March.
