A. A compact free-flowering specimen suited to border as well as rockery. Phacelia campanularia averages 9 in., will grow in any sunny position and bears rich blue bell-shaped flowers. A taller species, P. tanacetifolia, is 18 in. and much sought after by bees. The colour is lavender. Sow in position in spring and thin out. Usually blooms 6—7 weeks after sowing.
