P. An alpine which prefers to be grown on its side in vertical or horizontal crevices, never on the flat. A leafy, peaty soil is desirable. Increase by leaf cuttings in early summer . Note that ramondas must never have direct sunlight beating down on them. Ramonda Myconi (pyrenaica) has large bluish-lilac, golden-eyed flowers in late spring. Height about 4 in. White and bluish-white forms are also available.
