Some kinds increase very quickly, necessitating division every 2 or 3 years, which presents no difficulties. Good varieties include Golden Mosa with heads of bloom resembling mimosa and Lemore, pale primrose, both growing to about 2 ½ ft Loddon is bright yellow with a branching habit, to about 3 y2 ft and Wendy only 15 in. high. Golden Wingsin September and October and reaches 5 ft. and Solidago ballardii is a little taller.
