Tetrastigma 10-13°C/50-55°F; China

A large-leaved climber of extraordinary vigour, which has searching tendrils that will attach themselves to any available support. Needs a framework to climb onto, ample space to develop and large pots filled with a loam-based soil if it is to be seen at its best. Ample watering and good drainage also essential. The leaves, composed of three or five glossy green leaflets, resemble those of cissus. New plants from cuttings with a piece of stem and single leaf.
