ANEMONE CORNARIA is the horticultural name for groups’ of Anemone hybrids which include the familiar de Caen (single) and St. Brigid (double) plants. They are colourful additions to any border and they flower in April. Plant the tubers 3 inches deep and G inches or more apart during the Autumn, in partially shaded borders. Lift the tubers when the leaves die down and store in a cool place until planting time comes round again. The flowers are excellent for cutting to provide early colour in the home.
