Wild Lily: L. oxypetahmi Baker 1874

West Nepal, Kumaon, Garhwal at altitudes of 9,500-13,000 feet. Grows only 8-10 inches high, single or double bell-shaped, pendulous, green-yellow flowers, (RHS-LYB 1951-52)

L. oxypetalum var. insignc. A purple form with green markings found in 1939 by Major ShcrrifFat Simla, Hill States. More vigorous in growth than the yellow type, but only gives of its best if grown on leaf-mould under light shade. Slow germination, (RIIS-LYB 1962)
