Light

Lipstick Plants thrive in bright, indirect light. While they can tolerate lower light conditions, brighter light will encourage more prolific flowering. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves and cause them to lose their vibrant color.

Water

Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water the plant when the top inch of soil feels dry, ensuring that the pot has good drainage. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so be sure to allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings.

Soil

This plant prefers well-draining, light soil. A mix of peat, perlite, and potting soil works well, providing the necessary drainage while retaining enough moisture to keep the plant hydrated.

Temperature

The ideal temperature range for Aeschynanthus Radicans is between 65°F and 80°F (18°C to 27°C). It does not tolerate cold temperatures well and should be kept away from drafts or temperatures below 60°F (15°C).
